Hi,

I am getting the following error message when setting up oracle streams downstream capture.

ORA-16057: DGID from server not in Data Guard configuration

I have primary --->  going to standby

I have setup primary ----> going to downstream capture.

My primary to standby is working but can't seem to get primary to downstream capture to work and keep getting this message.  I've setup the db_unique_name and still can't figure it out.    Any one can help?

Ok.  I figured out my problem.

The primary and standby database had the correct db_unique_name in their pfile/spfile.   However, the streams cordinator did not.     I updated the streams cordinator spfile/pfile and also fixed the LOG_ARCHIVE_CONFIG parameter on the streams cordinator side.

Once I did this, the streams cordinator database started to pick up the logs and the error message went away.

I hope this helps.
